A E I O U

You guessed it, we had drama class; well it’s more like a theater lesson. We learned about how old english is used in the olden days and apparently you can actually create your own word; actually you can’t, but Shakespeare can! We read a couple lines from the script of Hamlet by William Shakespeare. It was kinda hard as he used a lot of words we don’t normally use, and yes, it is old english.

When we came, we did a few warm up exercises to just loosen up. It was fun but it made my feet a bit sore because we walked quite a lot before we arrived. We walked and walked around the room while doing various activities. Our mentor, Adam, has been a director since he was 16/17 years old! That’s about 26/27 years and his experience is much older than I am! It was a really fun experience, doing something we don’t normally do. However, I don’t really enjoy reading old english as it is very difficult to understand. Overall, it’s a great experience.
